It is with great excitement that I welcome you to Ward Central Elementary. My name is Tobie Sprawls and I am honored to have the opportunity to help lead a school with such amazing students, an extremely dedicated staff, and a supportive school community. I feel very fortunate to be part of this school and to help support the students and families at Ward Central.

I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than twenty years. I have worked with students ranging in age from Kindergarten through 6th grade in a variety of roles. Most recently, I have served as one of the Assistant Principals at Cabot Middle School North and Stagecoach Elementary. I am thrilled to bring my skills as an educational leader to Ward Central Elementary and to work with you as a partner in education to ensure your child's success.

On a personal note, I was born and raised in the very small town of Sarepta, Louisiana. This is the fourth year that my family and I have lived in Cabot. My husband is a football coach at Cabot High School and the Dean of Students at ALE. My older daughter is a junior at Harding University where she is majoring in speech therapy and plans to work with children.My younger daughter is a junior at Cabot High School. We love Cabot and all this community offers. We are proud to be part of the Cabot School District, one that values high standards by providing rich learning experiences for all students.

I view education as a life-long process and expect that I will continue to learn much about the uniqueness of Ward Central this year and in the years to come. Most importantly, I bring a belief that students are at the center of all school-related decisions. I am excited to unite my experience, my openness to learn, and my child-centered approach to support our students. Because the relationships between families and the school are vital to the success of our students, I encourage you to become involved in every way possible. I look forward to meeting you soon!
