It is with great excitement that I welcome you to Ward Central Elementary. My name is Tobie Sprawls and I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a school with such amazing students, an extremely dedicated staff, and a supportive school community. I feel very fortunate to be part of this school and to help support the students and families at Ward Central.

I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than twenty years. I have worked with students ranging in age from Kindergarten through 6th grade in a variety of roles. I am thrilled to work as an educational leader at Ward Central Elementary and to partner with you to ensure your child's success.

On a personal note, I was born and raised in the very small town of Sarepta, Louisiana. This is the fifth year that my family and I have lived in Cabot. My husband is an assistant principal at Cabot High School. My older daughter is in grad school at UCA where she is working on her masters in speech therapy. She plans to work with children. My younger daughter just graduated from Cabot High School and will be a freshman at Harding majoring in biology in hopes of becoming a physician's assistant. We are proud to be part of the Cabot School District, one that values high standards by providing rich learning experiences for all students.

I view education as a life-long process. Most importantly, I bring a belief that students are at the center of all school-related decisions. I am excited to unite my experience, my openness to learn, and my child-centered approach to support our students. Because the relationships between families and the school are vital to the success of our students, I encourage you to become involved in every way possible. I look forward to another year as Ward Central Panther!
