Athletic Healthcare Meeting Scheduled for May 28th

The Cabot School District's athletic training department will host its annual “Athletic Healthcare Meeting” for parents, guardians and athletes that will be in 7th-12 grades for the 2015-2016 school year.

The meeting will be held Thursday, May 28th at 6:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium. 

The Arkansas Activities Association (AAA) mandates that every member school provide parents and students with the opportunity to learn the district's policies regarding:

• Exertional Heat Illness

• Concussions, Communicable Diseases

• Pre-Participation Physical Exams 

This educational meeting will be led by the district's outstanding athletic trainers. The goal is to educate parents and athletes on the best practices to keep our student-athletes safe during athletic participation. We want to be transparent in our athletic healthcare policies. There will also be a “Question & Answer” session with our athletic training staff.
