A Cabot School Resource Officer wins a national contest. Officer John Dodd is a school resource officer at the Cabot Freshman Academy.
When he's not patrolling the halls, he dedicates his time bringing awareness to a cause close to his heart.
Officer Dodd recently received a phone call from the National Chair of the “Walk Now for Autism Speaks” Organization. He was just informed that his t-shirt design won a national contest. Now his design will be on every shirt, at every walk the organization has in the nation in 2015.
Officer Dodd says winning is awesome but it's really about the families and communities affected by autism. He's proud the design inspired by his beautiful daughter will make it across the nation and he's thankful for the people and organizations here in Arkansas that take care, fight and advocate for his family.
Congratulations Officer Dodd!
