Cabot Bank donates $1,000 to Backpack Program

A Cabot bank is giving back. First Community Bank has donated $1,000 to the school district's “Backpack Program.”

The program enables a student in need to take a backpack of food home. The food helps provide meals to their family over the weekend.

Community President Danny Brightwell says it's their first time donating to the backpack program and they love how the money will help Cabot students and their families.

The $1,000 donation will be used to help the program at Cabot Middle School North.
