Cabot Schools Honor Military Heroes on Veterans Day

November 11, 2014

Nov. 11th, 2014

Schools throughout the Cabot School District are honoring our military heroes this Veterans Day.  Many students dressed in red, white and blue and waved American flags in support of loved ones.

At Cabot Middle School North, veterans and active duty service members were honored Tuesday morning with a patriotic program and breakfast. Before the program, students lined the halls and clapped as their loved ones and heroes walked passed them.

At Eastside Elementary, students invited their heroes to a reception and parade.  Students with family members that are currently deployed had a special place in the parade and were accompanied by an AFJROTC cadet.

Over at Stagecoach Elementary, students invited veterans to a breakfast in their honor. Military personnel also came to speak to students about their careers, professions and education in the military.

The Cabot School District would like to take this opportunity to thank all veterans and active service members for protecting our country. We salute you!
