Trapshooting Team B.E.A.S.T.

Cabot students helped bring home a second national title! Team B.E.A.S.T. (Brothers Establishing Attitude Strength Toughness) took Grand National Singles Championship, Champion Squad, Sub-Junior Class AA. at Sparta, Illinois.
 

 

In addition to winning the championship, these students also took home a few titles and trophies between all of them in individual events. The teams coaches are Robby and Wendy Pennock and Devon Melbourne.

Bailey Finley - (CHS) Individual awards in Sparta: Third in Higdon Powder Singles Class A, Sub Jr Runner-up in Negrini Cases Singles, and Sub Jr. Third in Trapshooting USA Handicap. He also shot a perfect 100 score during the Grand. He attended the Grand from August 3-10 and shot over 2,000 rounds. Bailey also made the 2014 AIM All Star Team and received recognition at the Grand.

Cort Rochelle - (CFA) Individual awards in Sparta: Trapshooting USA Handicap 18-20.5 yard 3rd place / ATA 6th place Sub Jr. overall in handicap AIM. He attended the Grand from August 3-10 and shot over 2,000 rounds.

Cameron Layes - (CFA)  Individual awards in Sparta: National team race runner-up, Zoli Doubles B Class Runner-up, Browning 500 Doubles Class Champ, and Trap & Field Handicap 3rd. He attended the Grand from August 3-16 and shot over 3,000 rounds.

Hunter Reynolds - (JH) Individual awards in Sparta: Trap Shooting USA Handicap Runner-up, and ATA Super 500 Handicap Runner-up. He attended the Grand from August 3-13 and shot over 2,500 rounds.

Macie Woods - (Marshall High School) Individual awards in Sparts: High Over All Singles in Sub Jr. Ladies, and Runner-up Grand America Trap Shooting USA Handicap Lady 1. Also made the Lady I Arkansas State Team. She also shot a perfect 100 score during the Grand. She attended the Grand from August 3-13 and shot over 1,800 rounds.
