Cabot Freshman Academy's $23,400 Rebate from CenterPoint Energy

Cabot schools are proud to participate in CenterPoint Energy's natural gas Conservation Improvement Programs!

Kirk Pierce and Lance Orton are proud to present Dr. Thurman and the Cabot School District with a check for $23,400 as part of the incentive program.

The high efficiency natural gas equipment installed in the new Cabot Freshman Academy will produce an estimated annual cost savings of $8,600.  These energy efficiency improvements will also generate an estimated annual energy savings of 10,808 therms which is equivalent to the following:

• 57 metric tons of Carbon Dioxide
• Greenhouse gas emissions of 12 passenger vehicles
• Carbon sequestered by 47 acres of U.S. forests in one year
