Spirit Drive and Lincoln Street Roundabout to Open

The roundabout at Spirit Drive and Lincoln Street will open for regular traffic flow at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, August 1.

The opening of this roundabout creates new traffic patterns for the high school parking lot and access to Junior North and Freshman Academy.

The previous high school parking lot entrance from Lincoln Street will be closed. Access to the high school parking lot will be from a temporary entrance on Bellamy Street.

Students and patrons must turn on to Bellamy Street from Lincoln Street in order to access the high school parking lot until the permanent drive off of Lincoln is open.

Another important change is the section of Spirit Drive from Lincoln Street to the smaller roundabout in front of Junior High North will now be a two way street. In this past this has been one way to Junior High North, but the smaller roundabout will be open and Spirit Drive will now be a two way street.

Please be aware of these important changes in traffic flow when accessing the high school parking lot, Junior High North, and Freshman Academy.
