Christmas Memory

April 2, 2013

A Christmas memory from the "Cop Christmas" program shared by a parent.

This is a photo of my son, Psyllis Pruiett (K, 6yrs) and Officer Hanson of the Cabot Police Department at the Shop with a Cop Christmas Program at the Walmart in Cabot.

I wanted to express my gratitude on how much this experience meant to both my son and myself. We didn't get to do much for Christmas last year and his being selected to participate in this event made a huge impact on him. He really enjoyed picking out a gift for a little boy who is 2 at our church who wasn't fortunate enough to have many gifts for Christmas as well.

This event not only taught him that there are wonderful people in the world, but it helped to show him the joy of giving.

He not only picked a gift for that 2 year old, but spent the money from all the gift cards he received from friends, family and another program to buy gifts for other children who needed them.

He was so excited to attend and even more excited to see himself on the news! This was such a blessing to our family.
