Semester Test Exemption Policy Changes

On December 18, 2012, the Cabot School Board voted to change the Semester Test Exemption Policy to go into effect for the Spring 2013 semester. 

The new policy states that only students in grades 10^th through 12^th may be exempt from semester tests when they meet the exemption criteria.  Students in 7^th through 9^th grades will no longer be eligible for semester test exemptions. 

All absences, except school business, will be counted in determining eligibility for the semester test exemption.  Doctors' notes will not be allowed as eligible absences in regard to semester test exemption.
