January 2020 School Board Meeting Recognition
January 23, 2020

Several of our amazing students and even our very own dedicated school board members were recognized at the January meeting.
School Board Recognition Month
Cabot Public Schools is proud to honor our dedicated Cabot School Board members during Arkansas School Board Recognition Month.
This month-long observance, which is held every January, is an excellent opportunity to show our appreciation to our board members who give countless hours of their time to ensure the success of our students.
Some of our talented CHS art students even surprised our board members with their very own caricatures. Mrs. Helen Goodman's Art 3 classes have been working on these one-of-a-kind art pieces for the past several weeks. Each student selected a school board member to create their caricatures. Thank you to Mrs. Goodman and her students for recognizing our board members.
Lonoke County Hometown Healthy Poster Contest Winners
Nine Cabot elementary and middle school students were also recognized for their artwork during the January board meeting.
The winning posters are featured in the 2020 Lonoke County Hometown Health Coalition calendar. Nearly 700 students from across Lonoke County participated in the contest.
Congratulations again to these nine students for having their artwork featured in the calendar.
