Students compete in ACTM Math Competition

Recently a large group of students from CHS and both junior high schools went to Harding University to compete in the ACTM math competition.

 

 

 

              

In Calculus, Nathan Justus won first place, and Brandon Kempf and Michael Sandoval received honorable mention. In Precalculus/Trig, J.C. Bell and Aaron Murtishaw received honorable mention. In Statistics, Blake Organ received honorable mention. Algebra II, Cabot came home with 12 of the top 14 places out of 69 participants!!! Algebra II, 1st Place- Hunter Pool, 2nd Place-Justin Mullins, 3rd Place - Anna Applegate, Honorable Mention - Kyle Cox, Madison Dodson, Zach Launius, and Jessica McDonough. Geometry, Jack Allen Whisker - 3rd place(CJHN) and Rachel Murtishaw honorable mention (CJHN). 

                                 

Algebra I, 1st place- Brenna Frandson (CJHN).  These student will be traveling to the State Math competition in Conway at the end of April.
