Athletic Trainers & Emergency Personnel Working Together For Our Students

August 7, 2019

Cabot High School athletic trainers are working with emergency personnel to make sure athletes stay safe.

The athletic training department, administration and security team, Cabot Fire & Rescue, MEMS, Lonoke Sheriff Department, Cabot Police Department and the Cabot Emergency Hospital met to discuss the districts safety protocols for the upcoming school year.

Emergency situations may arise at any time during athletic events. Expedient action must be taken in order to provide the best possible care to the athletes of emergency.

The Cabot School District Emergency Action Plan was developed and implemented for an emergency plan to ensure that the best care is taken. Whether the situation is weather related, heat illness or injuries, certified personnel will be on hand and know how to handle each situation.
