CHS Students Compete Well in 2019 Decathlon/Heptathlon

Cabot student athletes recently attended the high school Heptathlon/Decathlon at Fayetteville High School.

Congratulations to the following students selected to attend this meet: Tyler George, Josh Warren, Maddy Cross, Kylie Hall, and Alexa Simpson.
 

      

In the Decathlon, Josh Warren placed 7th overall out of 80 decathletes! Josh scored a total of 5,735 points. Tyler George finished 35th with a total of 4,642 points.

In the girls Heptathlon, Alexa Simpson won the 800m and Kylie Hall finished 2nd. This is the 3rd year in a row that a Cabot girl has won the 800 in the Heptathlon!

Kylie Hall finished 13th overall (3,623 points) out of 81 athletes and set several personal records, including one in the high jump where she had the best jump of the day. Maddy Cross threw a huge PR in the shot put of 25-0 and finished 40th overall with 3,092 points. Alexa Simpson finished the day in 57th place with a total of 2,793 point.
