Two CHS Students Selected for Electric Cooperative Youth Tour

May 3, 2019

Two Cabot High School juniors are receiving an all-expense-paid trip to our nation's capital.

Maddie Johnson and Eliana Pray are two of four students selected to attend the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour. Sponsored by First Electric Cooperative, Maddie and Eliana will have the opportunity to explore Washington D.C., with students from the 16 other Arkansas electric cooperatives.

The group will join 1,500 students from across the country, learn about electric cooperatives, tour historic sites and museums and meet members of the Arkansas Congressional Delegation.

Students were selected based on information provided in an application as well as an interview. The trip will take place June 14-20.

Congratulations Maddie and Eliana!
