CHS Art Show Celebrates Student Artists

This year's CHS Annual Art Show was a wonderful success!

The Art Show celebrated the work of our student artists with more than 450 pieces of artwork and featured the artwork of students who won and were accepted in state competitions and exhibitions. At the awards ceremony, CHS art teachers Helen Goodman and Micah House presented 11 senior National Art Honor Society members with their graduation cords and inducted six new NAHS members.

Juror, Peter Bella, Assistant Professor of Graphic Design at UCA, selected the ribbon winners and the Best of Show and Trophy winners this year. Please congratulate our 10th grade Best of Show, Chris Oginsky, 11th Grade Best of Show, Lenora Rowe, 12th Grade Best of Show, Kaylea Handke and our Trophy Winner, Chandler Smith.

The 2019 NAHS Cord Recipients are Kamryn Runyon, Sydney Elias, Emily Guthro, Ivy Westmoreland, Lindsay Fulton, Bailey Schoening, Sam Savage, Jessica Hummel, Lindy Cook, Chandler Smith and Mikayla Boyd (not pictured).
