CHS Seniors Recognized at Kiwanis Honors Banquet 2019

April 23, 2019

It was a big night for 120 Cabot High School seniors as they were recognized at the 26th annual Cabot Kiwanis Club Honors Banquet. The banquet was held in the Cabot Junior High North cafeteria Monday, April 22nd.

Seniors who have maintained a 3.5 grade point average or higher were recognized and several scholarships were awarded at the banquet.

Congratulations to the following students:

Liz and Mark Bartells Scholarship - $1,000 - Abigail Gaddis

Gail Carpenter Scholarship - $1,000 - Jennifer Wu

Earl Collins & Jim & Maxine Brown Scholarships - Both awarded to Jeremiah Brown - $1,000 each

Mike Flowers Scholarship - $1,000 - Kaleb Webb

THV 11 Sports Anchor Hayden Balgavy served as guest speaker. Mr. Balgavy is a graduate of Cabot High School. He shared his story about his journey into television. He also encouraged and congratulated the Class of 2019.
