Mr. & Mrs. Hipp have supported CMSS since 1994. The Hipps made sure that the middle school concepts for providing academic and other experiences tailored to the adolescent child's needs would be in place even before the building was built. 

Both Mr. & Mrs. Hipp served as school board members and have worked to make sure the middle school concepts have been maintained.  Mrs. Hipp was a board member when the Cabot Middle School South was going to open.  She even uncrated student desks that arrived right before school started.

Mr. & Mrs. Hipp attend Frontier Festival each year with Mrs. Hipp, dressing in period clothing, explaining quilting to the students.  Mrs. Hipp has filled in for teachers at CMSS as a substitute, as well.
