Academic Learning Environment Awards

Five staff members (Jamie Jeffers ,CLA, Allan Ashley , ALE, Tina Young, ALE, Kathy Peters, ACE, and Michele Evans, ACE Principal) from Cabot School District attended the 13th Annual Conference on Alternative Education in Hot Springs on July 16-18.

"One Student At A Time"  was the theme of the conference. "One Student At A Time" demonstrates the daily commitment to the improvement for all learners.

The Keynote Speakers included Kit Cummings, Dr. Monte Selby, Shane Broadway, Senator Linda Chesterfield, and Devetta Smith.

Cabot was fortunate enough to be awarded for achieving top test scores for at risk students by becoming one of the top twenty in the area of both literacy and math. (These awards were presented by Lori Lamb, Alternative Education Director and President, National Alternative Education Association).
