Gracie Van Dorple - Magness Creek Elementary

Gracie Van Dorple is a star student and star reporter at Magness Creek Elementary. This precious fourth grader hosts a regular segment on News from the Creek called "Getting to Know You with Gracie." She always leaves a place better than she found it, and she got to brighten the day of Dr. Thurman and the Board with a little Q & A session.

Emily Cain - Magness Creek Elementary

Emily Cain is not your ordinary elementary Ed Tech - She goes the extra mile creating the coolest enrichment activities in technology at Magness Creek Elementary. She has a coding club that meets each morning before school to learn the art of computer programming. She also helps some of the fourth graders write, produce, and direct News from the Creek, a school based news program that spotlights all things academic, informational, and fun!

He manages anxiety with learned strategies - deep breaths before presenting, seeking help when needed, and stepping outside his comfort zone. His resilience and willingness to keep trying inspire those around him.

Toni Schiesz exemplifies collaboration, fostering teamwork and shared learning. As a mentor, she empowers new teachers with guidance and practical strategies.

In her classroom, she models cooperation and respect, extending her influence schoolwide. She unites teachers in PLCs to analyze data, share best practices, and enhance student learning.
