End of Year District Meeting – CPS 2021-2022 Teacher of the Year Revealed!

Hundreds of teachers and staff were recognized for their service, hard work, and dedication at the end of year district staff meeting Friday, May 27th.

Cabot Public Schools Teacher of the Year
One of our district’s outstanding teachers was honored with a special recognition. Allan West was named the 2021-2022 Cabot Public Schools Teacher of the Year. Mr. West was also named Elementary Teacher of the Year and Central Elementary Teacher of the Year. Mr. West is a Gifted and Talented Specialist and has worked for the Cabot School District for 11 years. He is now eligible to compete for Arkansas Teacher of the Year!

Also, congratulations to Kelly Monroe (CJHN Teacher of the Year) for being named the Mid-Level Teacher of the Year and Bianca Pernillo (CHS Teacher of the Year) for being recognized as the Secondary Teacher of the Year.

Bus Driver of the Year
Congratulations to our 2022 Bus Driver of the Year Tim Montgomery! Mr. Montgomery has been behind the wheel of a Cabot bus for a little over 10 years now. His wife, Judy, is also a Cabot bus driver. He says he enjoys the kids and we are positive they enjoy Mr. Montgomery as well.
