CHS Senior Awarded $200,000 Navy ROTC Scholarship

A Cabot High School senior recently received quite a surprise! In front of his friends, family, and CHS administers, Greyson Goddard learned he was being awarded a $200,000 Navy ROTC Scholarship to attend Texas A&M University.
Navy Commander Lauren Majchrzak and Petty Officer Chad Truby presented Greyson with the scholarship.
Greyson says he appreciates the opportunity and is excited his hard work paid off. He also says he was completely surprised by the announcement.
Greyson also learned thanks to an endowment, his room and board will also be provided free of charge. As for the future, the 18-year-old plans on becoming a Navy Pilot and majoring in Chemical Engineering.
