CHS After School Student Parking Lot Problems

Once again, the district is forced to address after school student parking issues at Cabot High School, specifically the Sophomore Parking Lot beside the Central Administration Building.

The area is continuously littered with trash, food containers, bottles, alcohol, tobacco products, etc. The district wants to give our students a safe and well-lit area to congregate. However, if problems persist, the district will re-enact our no loitering policy for this parking area.

The district can no longer invest time and resources each day to clean these parking areas that are being trashed with litter and broken bottles. We want our students to appreciate the fact that they are being given another chance and to take this opportunity to monitor one another so that this privilege is not lost.

Please keep in mind all Cabot city curfews, rules, and regulations remain in effect as well as the no loitering policy for all other areas in the school district after school hours.
