A Cabot senior has designed the new logo that will be used by the Arkansas Athletic Trainers' Association.
Last June, the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) adopted a new logo and asked each district and each state to adopt the same type of logo. In December, the executive board of the Arkansas Athletic Trainers' Association (AATA) voted to move forward with changing its logo.
Several secondary school athletic trainers reached out to their EAST Labs/computer graphics programs. Cabot High School's Head Athletic Trainer Jason Cates contacted teacher Tammy Davis. Her senior technology class creates the basketball programs for the athletic trainers to sell as a fundraiser during basketball season. Students are responsible for developing the layouts, designing some of the logos and creating graphics in the program.
Based on his skills, Jordan Camden was chosen to work closely with Mr. Cates to develop the final product. At the annual state meeting (April 24th-26th) at the University of Central Arkansas, the AATA membership voted to accept the logo that Jordan designed.
Congratulations Jordan on all your hard work!
