Meet Rio

The CJHS School Dog!

Rio of Flowing Grace is an AKC registered standard poodle affectionately known as Rio. He was born on January 3, 2022 to Copperhead Puppies: Poodles and Doodles out of Austin, AR. Rio came to live with the Sandages at 8 weeks old. Mrs. Sandage, his handler, and Rio began training with Loving Dog Training owned and operated by Kathie Ball.

Rio passed puppy class on April 6, 2022 and moved into AKC’s Canine Good Citizen training. Rio passed CGC on June, 24, 2022. Mrs. Sandage and Rio then worked on Public Access training. He passed his final test on June 13, 2023! Congratulations Rio!

Rio is up to date on all his vaccinations and is now serving as an Educational Support dog for Cabot Junior High South. Rio orginally started his career off at Cabot Junior High North and is excited to now love and care for students and staff at Cabot  Junior High South.

Rio is a very loving sweet poodle. He has learned several commands and loves to show them off for a treat. He knows when it is time to work and time to play. He loves getting attention from students and staff and they love getting attention from him.
