Four-Time Conference Champions and State Standouts: A Big Season for Cabot XC

The Cabot Cross Country teams wrapped up an outstanding 2025 season with strong performances at both the 6A Central Conference Championship and the 6A State Meet.
Conference Highlights
The Lady Panthers claimed their fourth straight conference title, earning the title of 2025 6A Central Conference Champions. The boys team also delivered a strong showing, finishing third overall.
Cabot celebrated eight All-Conference runners this season:
- Girls: Cady Masters, Savannah Fisher, Iliana Echard, Rylee Davis
- Boys: Samuel Boyd, Gannon Reins, Matthew Thurman, Reese Fisher


State Meet Results
The Lady Panthers continued their success at the 6A State Championship, placing 4th out of 17 teams, tying the program’s best finish in the last 25 years, while the Panthers finished 7th overall.
Girls State Performances:
- Cady Masters led the way, placing 10th overall in 19:10.72, earning All-State honors.
- Savannah Fisher finished 22nd (20:07.89)
- Iliana Echard placed 24th (20:13.74)
- Morgan Skinner finished 41st (21:26.03)
- Rylee Davis placed 49th (22:02.95)
Boys State Performances:
- Samuel Boyd finished 29th (16:56.39)
- Gannon Reins placed 37th (17:07.76)
- Matthew Thurman finished 41st (17:14.56)
- Reese Fisher placed 48th (17:25.80)
- Christian Irvin finished 61st (17:50.66)


Arkansas vs. Oklahoma All-Star Meet
Before the season officially concluded, several Cabot runners qualified for the 32nd Annual Arkansas vs. Oklahoma All-Star Meet in Rogers:
- Savannah Fisher – PR of 18:57.70, first Arkansas finisher, 5th overall
- Cady Masters – 19:17.99, third Arkansas finisher, 9th overall
- Iliana Echard – 19:52.09, seventh Arkansas finisher, 23rd overall
- Gannon Reins – competed as an alternate, ran 16:46.86 to place 26th overall
- Samuel Boyd – ran 17:13.09, finishing 42nd overall
